The 5 Coolest Casinos In America

Casinos are not only famous for gambling but also their buffets, free non-alcoholic drink stations, bars, hotels, and more. While Nevada’s “Sin City” is dotted with unique casinos, not everyone is bound to travel through there. Therefore, let’s take a look at some of America’s Coolest Casinos throughout the USA.

If you’re a bettor, or you gamble as a hobby, chances are you’ve been to Las Vegas a time or two. That’s why for this article, the focus will be on casinos throughout the USA, including Oklahoma, Washington State, Connecticut, Indiana, and New Jersey.

1. WinStar World Casino- Thackerville, Oklahoma

It may come as a surprise to you that the largest casino in the country is actually in Oklahoma and not Las Vegas. This casino has a whopping 616,960 square feet for their gaming floor that includes about 100 table games and over 7,000 machines!

Additionally, WinStar World Casino features an outdoor coliseum, retail stores, a 280-acre golf course, a hotel with 1,399 rooms available, including suites, and a global events center. Of course, you can’t get their extensive list of places to eat.

2. Tulalip Casino- Tulalip Washington

There is more to Washington than just the Space Needle and apples. Located 30 minutes north of Seattle, you will find the Tulalip Casino. This place has over 200,000 square feet of gaming room, including tables, bingo, and the famous Tulalip poker room.

Additionally, there is a 12-story luxury hotel where you can stay while you enjoy your play. Furthermore, Tulalip has a full-service spa, a wide variety of buffets and restaurants, entertainment venues, and places to shop.

3. Mohegan Sun- Uncasville, Connecticut

You hardly ever hear about Connecticut; it’s a relatively calm state. Although, it does have a fantastic casino called Mohegan Sun that boasts 364,000 square feet for its gaming floor and on the list of the biggest casinos in the country.

Inside, you will find a 55-foot waterfall, as well as animatronic wolves and a planetarium dome. Once you hit the gaming floor, you will have your choice of 300 table games and 5,000 slot machines. There’s also an arena with 10,000 seats, clubs, bars, and several different places to eat.

4. French Lick Resort Casino- French Lick, Indiana

This resort was rebuilt and expanded after a fire tore through in 1897 and burnt the original founded in 1845. This property has two hotels, the West Baden Springs and Hoosier National Forest, both of which are national historic landmarks. You’ll find a 51,000 square foot casino on the grounds as well.

However, this casino is a bit smaller and has 37 tables and 1,000 slot machines. But you’ll also have the choice to play a round of golf on one of their three golf courses, enjoy a day at one of their spas, and there’s plenty to do for children, including horseback riding.

5. Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa- Atlantic City, New Jersey

The Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa is the highest performing casino in all of Atlantic City. It has over 2,000 rooms to stay in and has a huge gaming floor that’s home to 250 table games and 3,400 slot machines. Not to mention, this is home to the largest poker room in the city!

The poker room isn’t the only largest accommodation on this property. There are plenty of nightlife venues, top-notch restaurants where you can enjoy a meal by Bobby Flay or Wolfgang Puck, places to shop, and also multiple fiver star spas to enjoy.
